Emily - Founder & Head Teacher
Emily has come a long way from her days as a 6 year old superstar on the tiny island of Tasmania dominating the local dance competitions dressed as a scarecrow and singing about Syncopated Clocks! Fast forward 20 or so years of Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Ballet and Musical Theatre training, Emily was in Perth, Western Australia to discover Bobbi's Pole Studio and an addiction to spinning poles, killer heels and sparkly hotpants.
Emily went on to teach at Bobbi's for 3 years, working closely with Miss Pole Dance World Champion Felix Cane and also the current Miss Pole Dance Australia, Allegra King. She has been expertly trained as a confident performer and a diligent dance teacher of all pole levels from beginner to advanced, even including lap dance and strip tease.
Emily founded Contours Pole out of her love of dance and performing. She consistently receives rave reviews from her students for her fun, relaxed and effective teaching style. She now lives in North London where she teaches Pole Dance lessons from home and for studio classes all over London.
Emily also enjoys Cheerleading and Burlesque, and hopes to master a smokin' Brazilian Samba in time for Carnivale!
